The sim card will automatically activate based on the Activation Date that you provide. It is from this date that your 30 days of service will commence. Whilst using the sim card you will need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone.   Going for longer than 30 Days? This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel and place the activation date approximately 30 days apart for each sim and swap the sim over at the end of 30 days. For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select 2 for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 30th September. Whilst on your travel, insert the first sim card to get connected and after 30 days all you need to do is swap the sims over to remain connected throughout your trip. Yes, you are able to hotspot/tether from your phone to another phone or device.
The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following; APN Name: internet APN: three.co.uk None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above. Details about APN settings and other important information will be noted on the instruction sheet that will come accompanied with the sim card.
This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel. For example, if you are going for 50 days, then look to purchase 2 x 30 day sims to cover your duration. However, please note you will have a different phone number for each sim.
Should you run into any issues with the sim card whilst overseas then we encourage you to email us immediately at support@simcorner.com and let us know the following information; Your order number or the name that the order is under along with the sim card number. Which country you are in currently and whether the sim card connects to any network, if so, which network? Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim card? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message. Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting. What phone model you are using? Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue. 
Firstly please check that the number you are dialling is a Standard Landline or Mobile. Premium rate or Business rate numbers are NOT included in the 3000 Minutes and SMS. You must always use the correct prefixes and international dialing conventions as noted below whenever making a call or sending an SMS to a local number. 00 (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) or + (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) If calling a Swiss number, you must use their country code which is 41 for example, in front of the number.  eg: For Landlines: 00 - 41- Area Code - Land Phone Number Or + 41 - Area Code - Land Phone Number and/or For Mobiles: 00 - 41 - 12 Digit Mobile Number (for calling and sms) If you need to call a rental company or tour provider, it is recommended to check with them before you depart for the correct international dialling conventions and to ensure it is standard local rate number. To find out your phone number simply insert the sim in your phone at any time and you will receive a text message with your phone number which will begin with 07. It's fine to do this prior to the activation date you have submitted to us. The sim card is a UK based sim card, hence it will have a UK phone number. If anyone outside of the UK is to call you on this number they will need to dial the UK country code which is +44 followed by your assigned UK number without the leading zero (i.e. +44 7xxxxxxxxx). You are not charged for incoming calls. For example, if the phone number is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)
