The data didn’t work

The data didn’t work in areas where others with different data providers had no problem. The data was very slow or simply not working in Queenstown. The app also is really buggy, even after I set up the eSIM I was still being asked to start the setup and therefore couldn’t see how much data I had used. I wouldn’t use this again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Very Disappointing – eSIM Didn't Work, Poor Support

I purchased a New Zealand Data eSIM expecting a smooth and convenient setup while traveling. Unfortunately, the eSIM never activated properly, despite following all instructions and troubleshooting steps. Customer support was only available via email and whilst quick to respond, their advice was unhelpful. After wasting time without a working data connection, I had no choice but to go out and buy a physical SIM from a local provider. This experience completely defeated the purpose of buying an eSIM for convenience. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone—save your time and money and go with a reliable physical SIM instead. Very disappointing. Money was refunded promptly.
